When RealManage was founded in Austin, Texas, in 2004, technology was part of the vision from the very beginning. The community association management industry still relied heavily on spreadsheets, disconnected databases, mail merge, and manual processes that made it difficult for boards, residents, and management teams to see what was happening in their communities. RealManage believed there was a better way—and began investing in its own technology platform to create it.
That technology ultimately became CiraNet, and the story behind its name reflects exactly what it was created to do. CIRA stands for Common Interest Realty Associations, the communities at the heart of our business. “Connect” represents the platform’s ability to bring together the many people who make those communities work—board members, residents, community managers, vendors, attorneys, closing agents and others—through one connected technology ecosystem. CiraConnect itself was incubated inside RealManage, growing from the proprietary software and shared-services platform RealManage began developing from its earliest days.
Today, CiraNet brings financials, operations, communications, reporting and community information together in one integrated platform. For RealManage clients, it is more than software layered onto our service model—it is the technology that powers how we deliver service, creating greater consistency, transparency and efficiency while giving boards real-time access to the information they need to make confident decisions. That combination of experienced people, disciplined processes and purpose-built technology remains one of the defining advantages of RealManage.
Born from an idea in Austin. Built specifically for community associations. Continuously evolving to help communities operate better.
